Kim Jun-Su
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of job satisfaction in the relationship between person-environment fit(below as PEF) and job performance of the elderly social activity support project participants(below as ESASP), and to compare the differences between the public type group and the market type group. To this end, 500 elderly people aged 65 or older who participated in the ESASP in Jeonju-si, Jeonbuk were surveyed, and data of 488 persons were used for the final analysis. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that the higher the PEF of the elderly participating in the ESASP, the higher the job performance. Second, the higher the PEF of the elderly participating in the ESASP, the higher their job satisfaction. Third, it was verified that job satisfaction of the elderly participating in the ESASP partially mediated the effect of PEF on job performance. Fourth, as a result of comparing the mediating effect of PEF, job performance, and job satisfaction between the public type group and the market type group in the ESASP. It turns out that satisfaction is partially mediated. On the other hand, in the case of the market-type group, the mediating effect of PEF on job performance through job satisfaction was found to be statistically insignificant. Based on these results, it suggested job development and job satisfaction improvement measures suitable for the type of participation.
